Woooo Hooo! I’m bloggin. I’m Bloggin.

Well, after much hemming and hawing and lots of help from my wonderful, patient husband, I have conquered my irrational fear of the mighty blog. That’s right my friends, I, Sandra Barkevich, am now a proud member of the blogging community.

Strange how a simple on-line journal can elicit such fear, such trepidation, such…. Well, it's just funny how I can sit for hours, days, months, writing a 400 page manuscript, complete with in-depth research and a simple diary entry should give me the jitters.

No more, I tell you! Here, you will see my inner-most thoughts. You will be privy to my goings on. All right then, let me blog away…. Ummm, ok, I got nothing! Zilch, nada, zippo. I had so wanted my first post to be this mind blowingly profound piece of literary genius. Instead, I’m gonna have to tell you about the most exiting thing to happen to me today.

My mother watched the kids so my husband and I could go to the movies! Ooooo yeah baby. We had a date! Yay! We saw The Producers and I can tell you we loved it. I smiled through the whole damn movie. Then, being the incredibly exciting person I am, we rushed home and I wrote a scene in chapter 17 of my current work in progress, a historical set in Victorian England. Then, my husband helped me set up my first ever blog!

Now I’m a bloggin fool. Just call me Sandra BLOGeVICH. I’m sure I have you all on the edge of your seats just waiting for my next post.
