I’ve done it!

Yes!  That’s right folks.  I have COMPLETED the 1st draft of my 400 page historical romance.  I was able to write [END] with all scenes complete and loose ends tied up.  I’m doin’ a happy dance.  Yep, right this minute, I am dancing around my computer looking like a total fool, but I’m a fool who’s just written a 416 page manuscript!

Hey!  That means I’ve just accomplished my first New Year’s resolution!  Yay for me.  Don’t ask about the other one.  It doesn’t matter because I wrote a book!  Woooo!  Hoooo!

Now, you can tell I am uber-excited because of the blatant over use of exclamation points.  Hey, I think I deserve it.

Ok, now for the hard part.  I have to read the thing, hope I like it, but not too much that I don’t want to make any changes.  My new goal is to have the 2nd and hopefully final draft completed by the end of March.

Look out Agents/Publishers, here I come.
