RWA Nationals 2007 ~ Greetings From Dallas
Hello, Everyone! Wow, it's been a crazy few days. A crazy, FUN, few days! The energy at conference is just...astounding. There is nothing like being around over 2000 women--and a few men ;-)--who all understand what it's like to have characters and plots and scenes occupying your mind at any given time.
I have gotten some great pictures...um, forgot to pack the card reader, so you're just gonna have to wait until my return to see 'em. Sorry! Hmmmm...I wonder if I can track someone down with a card reader here. I'll have to see what I can manage.
Now, for the exciting news! I have been toying with the idea of running a "Workshop" segment here at Sandra's Goings On. I've approached several fabulous authors who've consented to participate. These will be blog posts about the craft of writing. Wait till you see the line-up! I think I may still be in shock myself. *BG*
Well, I hear the bathroom freeing up, so I'm off to start my day. We have the PRO retreat this morning until noon. Sherrilyn Kenyon will be there, people (And, can I just tell you? Her line at the Literacy Signing? Holy Wow! I can't imagine where she kept all the books! It was every bit as long as Nora Roberts' line, which seemed to go on forever.). I am still in awe of all these great authors in one place.

Tonight, is the Romance Divas' dinner. Having met most of the Divas already, I can tell this is going to be one heck of a party. Now, those will prove to be some interesting pictures. *bg*

Diana ~ Let me just tell you it has been CRAZY here. I did type up a whole post conference blog. It was pretty entertaining if I say so myself. WAS, being the opperative word here. Because of some running around I had to do with my daughter (she danced at the half-time show at an Arena Football game), I left my almost completed blog post up in Word. It's my own darn fault for not hitting save when I ran out the door. Sigh. Darling husband closed the app and everything I'd written was lost. I just thank GOD it wasn't one of my wips! LOL. Anyway, time has not presented itself to do a new post. Rest assured, though, one is coming soon, pictures and all.
